LAVINYA SMITH GRAFTON

Funeral services for Lavinya Smith Grafton, 85, of Bernice, LA were held Saturday, September 4, 
1999 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Bernice, LA with Rev. Harlan Smith assisted by Rev. 
David Weeks offciating. Interment was held at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home of Bernice.
Mrs. Grafton died Tuesday, September 2, 1999 in Bernice, LA following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Grafton was a member of First Baptist Church of Bernice, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husband William R. "Billie" Grafton and a daughter, Sonya 
Grafton.
Survivors include two brothers: Rufus P. Smith of Bernice, LA and James Ronald Smith of 
Cummming, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were George Wiltcher, Tate Grafton, Jr., Simon Pearson, Billy R. O'Bannon, David 
Smith and Mike Smith.
Memorial may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bernice, or Shiloh Cemetery Fund.
