JAMES WILLIAM RAY

Funeral services for James William Ray, 67, of Shreveport, LA, and former resident 
of Bernice, LA will be held Friday, February 19, 1999 at 10 AM at Rose-Neath Bossier 
Chapel with Dr. John Stubblefield, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Shreveport officiating.
Interement will be held in the Farmerville Cemetery, in Farmerville, LA under the direction 
of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA.
Mr. Ray was retired from N.L. Industries.
Mr. Ray died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999 in The Glenn in Shreveport.
Mr. Ray was preceded in death by his wife: Vivian Ray.
Survivors include one son: James D. Ray and wife Pamela of Shreveport, LA; mother: Minnie 
Lee Ray of Homer, LA; 2 grandchildren: Heather and Keith Ray of Shreveport, LA; 1 sister: 
Joyce Tilley of Bossier City, LA; 2 brothers: Donnie Ray of Bernice, LA and Bill Ray of 
Monroe, LA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Greg Tilley, Scott Tilley, Todd Tilley, Brian Connel, Randy Fieber and 
Jody Blackwell.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Shreveport.
Special thanks to friends at the Glenn Retirement Village.
