Kathleen Turnage Smith Funeral services for Mrs. Kathleen Turnage Smith, 77, of Minden, were held Saturday, Dec 11, 1999 at Kilpatrick's Funeral Home Chapel with Elder C.C. Morris officiating. Interment followed in the Spearsville Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mrs. Smith died Wednesday December 8, 1999 in Shreveport, Louisiana following a brief illness. She was a resident of Minden for the past 40 years, a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Minden. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Graydon Smith of Minden; daughter Virginia Lee Wimberly and husband Charles of Baton Rouge; son, Thomas Richard Smith and wife Judy of Bossier City; sister, Lora Lee Moore of Farmerville; brother, Palmer Turnage of Pineville; half-brother, Billy Farrar of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, Chase and Logan Wimberly, Karen Brown, Stacy Smith and Jeff Smith; and two great grandchildren, Aaron and Whitney Brown. Pallbearers were Rodney Smith, Greg Smith, Matt Smith, Jeremy Smith, Ned Barron, Bruce Barron, Eddie Smith, Kevin Smith, and Jimmy Auttenberry. # # #
