			Mrs. Lois E. Upshaw
	
Haughton, LA - Mrs. Lois E. Upshaw, 80, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 
1999. She was born in Mt. Union, LA and had been a long time resident of 
Haughton with a church membership at the First Baptist Church of Haughton 
for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. W.R. Upshaw. Lois 
is survived by her sons, Paul E. Upshaw and wife Martha, and Joe W. Upshaw; 
daughter, Rose Padgett and husband Gehlen; daughter-in-law Patty Upshaw; 
sister, Lillian Graves; brothers, Forest Everett, and Kenneth Everett; 
grandchildren, Rebecca Rosenberry, Ginger Patterson, Cassie Upshaw and Corrie 
Upshaw; and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Hill Crest Funeral Home on 
Friday, August 20, 1999 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Mark Eakin and Reverend 
Melton Prothro officiating. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery with Randy 
Draper, Brooks Patterson, Nealie Valentine, Tim Everett, Tommy Everett, Neal 
Everett, and Tim Rosenberry as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends for visitation of Friday from 12 p.m. to 2 
p.m. at the funeral home.
