Linda Ruth Anderson, born April 25, 1950 died April 28, 2000 at her home in Newport News, 
Virginia.
Born in Baltimore, MD she had been a Newport News resident for 14 years where she was a member 
of the Providence Free Will Baptist Church.
A memorial service was conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 1 at Providence Free Will Baptist 
Church by the Rev. Richard G. Barnes. Interment was in the Peninsula Memorial Park.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Vincent S. Andrews; her son, Timothy B. Andrews 
of Newport News; her mother, Geraldine Grafton Tunney of Baltimore, MD; her sister, Evelyn 
Hoover and husband Robert; and her niece Melanie Williams and husband Christopher of Baltimore, 
MD; two uncles Bobby Grafton and wife Patsy of Minden, LA; Llyod Grafton and wife Frances of 
Ruston, LA; four aunts, Valerie Shelton and husband of Dubberly, LA, Patsy Holdman and husband 
John of Bernice, Therez Kelly and husband Van of Minden, and Lillian Grafton of Laurel, MS and 
a host of cousins who loved her dearly.
