MR. LUTHER EARL BEAIRD

Funeral services for Mr. Luther Earl Beaird, 87, of Spearsville were held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, 
March 15, 2000 at Mt.Union Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Northcutt officiating. Burial was at 
the church cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Farrar Funeral home of Farmerville.
Mr. Beaird, a retired farmer and carpenter, died Monday, March 13,2000 after a brief illness. He 
was a member of Union Baptist Church since 1929 and a native of Union Parish.
He is preceded in death by wife Delta Odom Beaird, brothers, Leonard and J.A. "Bill" Beaird.
Survivors include: Daughter, Melba Beaird of Spearsville,LA; Son and daughter-in-law, Paul and 
Evelyn Beaird of Spearsveille; Granddaughter and husband, Paula and Bill Jimmerson of Jonesboro, 
La.; Granddaughter and husband, Cheryl and Brig Booth of New Orleans,LA; Great-grangchildren, 
Jessica Brown, Tyler and  Drew Jimmerson, and Tanner Booth. Brother; Otis L. "Jack" Beaird.
Pallbearers were Charles Lockwood, Franklin Beaird, James Robert Hardy, Hez Elkins, Ronnie 
Elkins, and Jim Rhodes.
