She was preceded in death by her parents and nine of her brothers and sisters. Mardell is survived by her son, Keith Beck of Benton; two granddaughters, Desiree and husband Lyndell Beard and Angela and husband Russell Winfield bother of West Plains, MO, five great-grandchildren, Stephanie Winfield, Zachary Winfield, Joshua Winfield, Spencer Beard, and Austin Beard all of West Plains; one sister, Maudine Murry of Little Rock, AR and many nephews and nieces. Mardell will be greatly missed by many friends and loved ones. She made a difference in many lives by her ability to teach almost anyone to play the piano. Churches all over Arkansas and North Louisiana were made better by her pupils being able to play the piano. She was a wonderful mother and very dear grandmother. She was a member of Holland Chapel Church in Benton and worked for over 20 years in the nursery there. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 23,2000 at Roller-Ballard Chapel with Rev. L.D. Campbell. Interment was held in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexandria. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: Mardell Nash Beck was born in Laran, the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Cranford Nash. She had 1 half-sister, Minnie Nash Bryant; 2 half-brothers, Carl and Clyde Nash of Camp Creek Community; and 6 brothers and sisters, Roy Nash of Laran, Mattie Foster, Mamie Jones of FL, Mittie (Monk) Breland of Oregon, Ralph Nash who used to drive a school bus in Spearsville and owned the Pelican's Nest, and Dewey Nash of Laran. # # #
