MRS. MARY LOU BROUGHTON

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Broughton, 73, of Dubach, LA were held
at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 5, 2000 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev.
Mike Smith officiating and assisted by Rev. Danny Broughton.  Interment
was held in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral
Home of Bernice.
Mrs. Broughton died Friday, November 3, 2000 in Ruston, LA following a
lengthy illness.
Mrs. Broughton was a lifelong resident of Lincol Parish and a member of 
Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughters, Alvern Bevans and husband Bill of Bernice, LA;
Shirley Knowles and husband Jesse of Dubach, LA; and Jackie Mabry and
husband Jim of Bernice, LA; son, Donnie Horton and wife Suzie of Homer, LA;
brothers, Sam Davis of Calhoun, LA and Bill Colvin of Farmerville, LA;
sister, Ruth Johnson of Monroe, LA; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Scott Mabry, Chuck Ovitt, Ray Knowles, Wade Wright, Keith
Henry and Doyle Poindexter.
