Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Lee Brown, 85, of Bernice were held at 3:00 PM Monday, February 
7,2000 at Weldon Baptist Church with Bro. Alan Barnes officiating. Burial was held at the church 
cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Famerville.
Mrs. Brown, a homemaker, died Sunday February 6, 2000 after a brief I llness. She was a lifelong 
resident of Claiborne Parish and a member of Weldon Baptist Church. 
Survivors include; 2 sons: Royce Brown and wife Linda of Bernice and Donald Lee Brown and wife 
Cathey of Cerritos, CA; 1daughter: Diane Foust and husband Ernie of Bernice; 1 sister: Wilma 
Farris of Famerville,; 4 grandchildren: Tanya French and husband Chuck; Todd Brown and wife 
Rachael; Jon Brown and wife Kalani; and Ernest Foust and wife Candi; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ricky Rea, Mike Kinnison, James Brown, Henry Arant, Freddie Boyette, and Earl 
Walker.
