Veola Pennington Dison Veola Pennington Dison, age 65, of West Monroe, LA died April 19, 2000 at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe, LA following a brief illness. She was born February 11, 1935 in Junction City, LA daughter of John O. and Lizzie Belle Smith Pennington. She was a homemaker and a member of Evergreen Park Baptist Church in West Monroe and the Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, John and Oscar Pennington. Survivors are her husband, Ray Dison of West Monroe; her mother, Lizzie Belle Pennington of Junction City, AR; a daughter, Loraine Walker of West Monroe; a son, Mike Dison of West Monroe, LA; two sisters, Mary Lou Dison of Homer, LA. and Dorothy Wright of Spearsville; six brothers, Dale, Doyle, James, and Lynn all of Spearsville, Joe Pennington of Calhoun, and Jerry Pennington of Philadelphia, MS; three grandchildren, Melanie, Kimberly, and Caleb Walker; and one great grandchild, Erin Walker. Services will be Friday, April 21, 2000 at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church. Officiating will be Revs. Carey Crawford and O.J. Ownes. Burial will be in Beech Grove Methodist Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of ElDorado, AR. Visitation for Mrs. Dison will be at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church, starting at 3 PM Thursday. # # #
