MISS ELOISE ELKINS

Funeral services for Miss Eloise Elkins, 80, were held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 16, 2000 at 
Mt. Union Baptist Church with Bro. Forrest  Post and Bro. Paul Northcutt officiating. Burial was 
held in the church cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of 
Famerville.
Ms. Elkins, a homemaker, died Monday, March 13, 2000 after a brief illness. She was a native of 
Union Parish and a member of Mt. Union Baptist Church in Spearsville.
She is preceded in death by her parents John H. Elkins Sr. and Mattie Rockett Elkins and sister 
Mary L. Beene.
Survivors include: 2 brothers, Eldred V. Elkins and wife Carolyn of Doyline, LA; and John H. 
Elkins and wife Virginia of Little Rock, AR; 1 sister Mabel Ruth Moore and husband Murray of 
ElDorado, AR.
