ELLIOTT * Bernice Banner 2/11/2000 Funeral services for Larry K. Elliott, 64, of Bernice, were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 7, 2000 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston with Keyon Smith conducting the services Pallbearers were Henry Watts, Herschel Cooper, George Thomason, Henard Corbin, Sammy Grafton, and Wayne Causey. Honorary Pallbearers were Ed Ober and Gordon Ober. Burial was in Bernice Cemetery. Mr. Elliott died Friday, February 4, 2000 at VA Medical Center in Shreveport after a brief illness. He was retired from Laurens-Pierce Glass where he had worked as a customer service representative. Survivors include his wife and mate of 35 years, Leathia Elliott of Bernice; three sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert Joel and wife Martha of Simsboro, John W. and wife Toni of Simsboro, and Jessie C. and wife Barbara of Lillie; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda Fagan and husband James of Quitman, MS; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Beth Hamilton and husband Philip of Picayune, MS; and Judy E. Adams and husband Steve of Coushatta; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. His passing leaves a void in many lives but also the knowing that we will see him again in heaven. # # #
