Interment was held at the Antioch Cemetery in Spearsville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. A State Farm Insurance Agent for 35 years, he was a member of the Church of Christ of Farmerville, and a lifelong resident of Union Parish. A graduate of Louisiana Tech University, he has served as past president of the Ruston Chapter of the LA Association of Life Underwriters, Farmerville Lions Club, Farmerville Chamber of Commerce, Northeast Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, past member of the Board of Directors of the Farmerville Housing Authority, and a member of the Board of Union General Hospital. Mr. Futch was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mane and Joe R. Futch, and a sister, Annie Sue Puckett. Survivors include his wife, Jean Futch of Farmerville, 1 Son: Brandon J. Futch of New Orleans, 2 Sisters: Kay Scarborough of Arlington, Texas, and Rosa Bass of Powder Springs, Georgia, 5 Brothers: Frankie Futch and wife Carolyn, and Joe Futch and wife Sue of Spearsville, Curtis Futch and wife Louise of Calhoun, Eke Futch and wife Brenda of West Monroe, Fred Futch and wife Nancy of Farmerville; 1 Brotherin-law: Gary Puckett and wife, Ethel of Mandeville. Pallbearers were nephews: Jordan Futch, Shannon Futch, Eddie Albritton, Britt Pilgreen, Russell Deason and Brian Scarbrough. Honorary Pallbearers are fellow State Farm Insurance Agents. # # #
