Funeral services for Mr. Dale  Goss, 87, of Bernice, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 
2000 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Revs. David Weeks and David Pate officiating.
Burial followed at the church cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Farrar Funeral 
Home of Farmerville.
Mr. Goss died on Friday, March 10, 2000, at South Arkansas Medical Center in El Dorado.
A retired carpenter, he was a  member of Shiloh Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon 
and taught Sunday School. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bernice.
Mr. Goss is preceded in death by his wife and mother of their daughter, Ora Pearson Goss; his 
second wife, Cora Goss; and a brother, Leonard E. Goss.
Survivors include three daughters, Reatha Denham and husband Windy and Bonnie Harkins and 
husband Bob, all of Bernice, and Connie Bearden and husband Gene of Ruston; seven grandchildren 
and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Windy Denham, Gene Bearden, Bob  Harkins, Robby Lewis, Johnny Bowen, Eric 
Harkins and Geoff Deason.
