He suffered with great patience, he slept away to be with the Lord. Born April 6, 1927 in Downsville, La. the son of Albert Sr., and Dessie (McVey) Green, Married Elizabeth Schubert in Linz, Austria, on July 19, 1947. Employed by Barber-Cloeman for 27 years retiring in 1988. Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Member of Northeast Christian Church. He was a friend to all who knew him. An avid fisherman and also leaves a vast number of friends who will greatly miss his charm, humor, and incredible ability to catch fish. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; son Bruce (Mary); granddaughters, Vanessa and Cassandra; and several brothers and sisters in Louisiana. Predeceased by his parents. As peacefully as he lived among us, thus he has departed us. We are mourning our much loved husband of 53 years, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
