HELOISE E. "WEWE" GRIFFON

Heloise E. Griffon "WeWe" made her transition into the loving arms of God on February 2,
2000. WeWe was born on July 23, 1911 in Mink, Louisiana, the daughter of Paul and Lilliian 
Griffon of Spearsville, LA.
Heloise received her B.A. from Louisiana Polytechnic institute. Upon graduation, served as 
Staff Member, Division of Extension and State Film Service. She received her M.S. from Indiana 
University and served as Staff Member Audio-Visual Service. Film Utilization. in 1947, Heloise 
became Supeivisor of Audio-Visual Service at the State Department of Education, Little Rock, 
Arkansas. She retired from this position in 1977. Heloise was a long time member of the  First 
Baptist Church of Ruston.
Heloise was predeAcesed in life by her parents, Paul Arthur and Lilliam Griffon, her brother,
Albert Jackson Griffon of Spearsville, LA and her sister, Georgina Russell of Ruston, LA.
She is survived by her nephews, Robert J. Griffon, M.D. of Evanswood, TX and Mike Russell of 
Ruston. LA. and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 AM Saturday, February 5, 2000 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home
Chapel, with Rev. John Morgan officiating. Interment was held in Spearsville Cemetery in
Spearsville, LA.
