Mrs. Wanda Alice Smith West Farmerville, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Alice Smith West, 73, of Farmerville will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 20, 2000 at Mt. Union Baptist Church near Spearsville with Minister Phil Schrooder from Delta Mennonite Church officiating and song by the same. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mrs. West was born in Camden, Arkansas April 25, 1927 and died in Shreveport on June 17, 2000. She was employed by wood electric Company of Camden, AR. She was married November 7, 1952 at First Assembly of God, Camden, AR. She then moved to Farmerville 1955-56 to 1972. Spearsville till 1983. She was a mother and homemaker. Employed by Union Welfare Department in Farmerville, La for 17 years; Claiborne Welfare Department 3 1/2 years; Lincoln Parish Health Unit till retirement in 1996. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice Patricia West; brothers, Carlton Smith, Charles Smith, Anthony Eugene Smith, Harry Smith, Tommy Smith, and W. R. "Bob" Smith; father, Robert Monbrose Smith; and mother, Willie Ima Smith. Survivors include her husband, Rex D. West of Farmerville, LA; two sons, Timothy Rex West of Memphis, TN, and Gregory Smith of West Carollton, Tx; four sisters, Jessie Papati of Ft. Meyers, FL, Doris Wilson of Ft. Meyers, FL, Billie Faye Moffett of River Forest, IL, and Joe Kibbel of Mebane, NC; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Carlton (Irene)Smith, and Mrs. Charles (Pauline)Smith; and many nieces and nephews. # # #
