HELEN VIRGINIA COLE BENNETT

Funeral services for Helen Virginia Cole Bennett, 67, of Spearsville, LA were held 
at 2 PM Wednesday, March 14, 2001 at First Baptist Church of Spearsville with Rev. 
Chuck Johnston officiating. Interment was held in Spearsville Cemetery under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mrs. Bennett died Sunday. March 11, 2001 in Bernice, LA following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Bennett was a pre-school Sunday School teacher, Acteen Leader, and Cub Scout 
Leader for many years.
Survivors are her husband: Rex Bennett of Spearsville, LA, two sons:John Rex Bennett 
and wife, Leona of of Monroe, LA and Jeff Bennett of Ruston, LA., seven sisters: 
Clarisse, Carolyn, Sandra, Billie Jean, Betty, Judy, and Cheryl; two granddaughters: 
Stacey Bennett and Laruen Bennett; grandson: Hunter Bennett. Pallbearers were Melvin 
Stone, Virgil Rhodes, Billy Henderson, Clyde Barron, David Henderson and Mark Deason.
