DILLARD BUSH

Funeral services for Dillard Bush, 79, of Spearsville, LA were held 2:00 PM Wednesday, 
January 31, 2001 at Beech Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Billy Minyard 
officiating. Irterment was held at Beech Grove Cemetery under the direction of Bailey 
Funeral Home.
Mr. Bush died January 29, 2001 at Union General Hospital in Farmerville, LA following 
a lengthy illness.
Mr. Bush was born on May 12,1921 in Summerfield, son of Augis and Exa Anderson Bush. 
A cattle farmer, Mr. Bush retired from Monsanto Chemical Co. where he worked as a 
machinist. He served as a Steward for Beech Grove United Methodist Church. He was 
preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gordon Bush and Haygood Bush, and a sister 
Alma Lou Arrant, and his wife Opal Taylor Bush.
Survivors include 2 Sons: Larry Bush and Andy Bush, both of Spearsville, LA; 1 Daughter: 
Barbara Sue Hogan of Downsville, LA; 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
