MRS. ELESE ROCKETT COMPTON

Funeral services for Mrs. Elese Rockett Compton, 73, of West Monroe, LA was held at 
10:OO AM Monday, January 15, 2001 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, West Monroe 
with Rev. Gordon "Skip" Dean and Rev. Clyde Sanchez officiating. Interment was held 
in Twin Cities Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West 
Monroe, LA
Mrs. Compton died Saturday, January 13, 2001 at Landmark Nursing Home in West Monroe.
Mrs. Compton was a member of Highland Baptist Church in West Monroe. She was preceded 
in death by her husband, Robert M. Compton; parents: Claude and Sallie Rockett; sister 
Sybil Williams and brother, Norman Rockett.
Survivors include her two daughters: Linda Antley and husband Don of West Monroe, LA 
and Mary Lou Harrison of West Monroe, LA; six grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; 
one brother: Doyle Rockett of Spearsville, LA; three sisters: Monell Reed of 
Farmerville, LA, Wilma Lee Brazzel of Ruston, LA and Saundra Bays of Summerfield, LA; 
and numerous nieces and nephews.
