Following obituary from the Bernice Banner

Mrs. Kathleen Redden Elliott

Funeral services for Mrs. Kathleen Redden Elliott, 83, were held at 3 pm Tuesday,
June 26, 2001 at Sardis Baptist Church near Farmerville with Bro. Joe Cannon and
Bro. Bob Witt officiating.  Interment was held at Sardis Cemetery.  Arrangements 
are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mrs. Elliott, a housewife, died Saturday, June 23, 2001.  She was a native of the
Farmerville community since 1928 and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T.W. Elliott, and son, J.C. Elliott.
Survivors include daughter: Shirley Elliott Jones of Los Angeles, CA; son: Jerry
Elliott and wife Jo of Farmerville, LA; two sisters-in-law: Fenie Redden of 
Farmerville and Sue Elliott of Downsville; four grandchildren; one 
great-grandchild; two step-grandchildren; one brother-in-law: Travis Elliott and 
wife Iville of West Monroe, LA; nieces and nephews, and several special friends.
Pallbearers were Richard Snyder, Richard Joe Snyder, Stephen Snyder, Dennis Kyle,
Wayne Giddens, and Marvin Neal.
Honorary pallbearers were Boots Stansbury, Pete Adkins, Henry Albritton, and
Edgar Smith.
