Paul King officiating. Burial was held at Zion Hill Cemetery near Farmerville. Arrangements under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mr. Farrar, a retired policeman with the city of Shreveport, died Sunday July 2, 2000 after a sudden illness. He was the current Police Juror of Ward 3 in Union Parish, former member of the national guard, retired from D'Arbonne Bank; for seven years he was warden at the Union parish Detention Center, Owner of Farrar Wholesale Farm Equipment; Member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, 32 degree Mason and past Grand Master at the Masonic Lodge in Spearsville. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Audrey Farrar; Brother, Charles Farrar and stepson, Tony DeStefano. Survivors include his wife Donna Farrar of Farmerville; 2 Step-daughters: Catherine Louis of Shreveport, LA and Diana DeStefano of St. Francisville, LA; 2 Sisters: Ruby Ann Jackson and husband Wayne of Humble, TX and Sybil Taylor and husband Paul of Farmerville; 1 Step-grandchild: Ashley Shelton of Springfield, VA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Union Parish Police Jurors. # # #
