CLIFTON W GREER, SR.

 Funeral services for Clifton W Greer, Sr., 84, of Bernice, LA were held at 10:00 a.m. 
Monday, April 23, 2001 at First Baptist Church of Bernice with Rev. David Weeks, Rev. 
W.C. Puckett, Jr. and Rev. Basil (Buster) Page officiating. Graveside was held at 3:00 
P.M. at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home of Bernice.
Mr. Greer died Friday, April 20, 2001 in Bernice following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Greer was a member of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his daughter, 
Anita Louise McFerren Spurgin.
Survivors include: Daughters: Elizabeth Bays and friend, Tommy Lord Of Haughton, LA; 
Jeanette Owens and husband, Tommy of Shreveport, LA; Son: C.W Greer, Jr. and wife, Janice 
of Minden, LA; Grandchildren: Janet Veuleman and husband, Eric of Shreveport, LA; Jeff 
McFerren and friend, Gwen of Keithville, LA; Todd Greer and wife, Patricia of Cotton 
Valley, LA and Robyn Rhoads and husband, Ronnie of Bossier City, LA, GreatGrandchildren: 
Tyler, Madeleine and Victoria; Sister: Irene Carr and husband, J. C 4 Of Woodville, TX; 
Brothers: Larry Greer of Marthaville, LA and Wilford Greer Of Marthaville, LA. numerous 
nieces and nephews and Special Friend: Arlene Mitcham of Bernice, LA.
Pallbearers were Windy Denham. Johnny Bowen, Thomas Monk, W T Brooks, Ben Stewart, and 
W.C. Russell.
