MR. D. B. JACKSON

Funeral services for Mr. D. B. Jackson, 86, were held at 2:00 pm Friday,
May 4, 2001 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Bro. Lee Gardner and Bro. M. F.
Copeland officiating.  Interment was held at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery under
the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mr. Jackson, a farmer and truck driver, died May 1, 2001.  He was a member
of Mt. Sterling Baptist Church. 
He is preceeded in death by parents: Mr. and Mrs. Charlies Jackson; 1 sister:
Ruby Elliott; 2 brothers: Curtis Jackson and Clyde Jackson.
Survivors include: wife, Margie Driggers Jackson of Spearsville, LA; 4 sons,
Jimmy L. Jackson of Bastrop, David Jackson and wife, Patsy of Natchitoches,
LA, Charles Jackson and wife, Denise of Spearsville, LA and Joe L. Jackson
and wife, Peggy of Melbourne, AR; 2 Daughters, Frances Garris and husband
Devayne of Spearsville, LA; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were DeWayne Westbrook, Larry Green, Joey Evans, Bobby Gene
Kelley, Eddie Paul Evans and Simon Pearson.
Honorary Pallbearers were George Holland, James Ellis Pilgreen and Edward
Earl Elliott.
