BONNIE YOUNG JONES

Funeral Services for Mrs. Bonnie Young Jones, 103, of Bernice, were held at
10:00 am Monday, April 16, 2001 at Weldon Baptist Church with Rev. Carrol
Holmes, Rev. Robert Davis and Reb. Kenneth Nutt officiating.  Interment was
held at Sharon Cemetery in the Sharon Community.  Arrangements are under the
direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mrs. Jones, a homemaker, died Saturday April 14, 2001 after a brief illness.
She was a member of Weldon Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Jones; sons, Lewy, Tommy
and Glyn Jones; daughters, Dorothy Rider and Eurma Mae Smith.
Survivors include 4 sons: Fred A. Jones and wife Ernestine of Farmerville, 
LA, Odis Jones and wife Dottie of New York, Billy Jones of Haughton, LA and
Milton and wife Alta Mae of Bernice, LA; 2 daughters, Kathryn Martin of Homer,
LA and Linda Sue Brown and husband Royce of Bernice, LA; 3 daughters-in-law,
Margie Anderson of Melville, LA; Debbie Hyde and husband Jim of Homer, LA;
and Eula Mae Jones of Calhoun, LA; 34 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, 
22 great-great grandchildren; 5 nephews and 2 nieces and her church family.
The following pallbearers were very dear to her heart: James Brown, Danny
Lee, Eddy Lee, Jason Turner, Phillip Farris and Ricky Rea.
Honorary pallbearers were: L. B. Walker, Earl Walker, and Randy Walker.
