MADDEN, JR. Funeral services for Thomas J. Madden, Jr., 80, were held at 10: 00 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel with Dr. Damon Vaughn, pastor of Airline Baptist Church,. assisted by Billy Bickham. Graveside service were held at Spearsville Cemetery in Spearsville, LA at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by Dr. Connie Ward. Mr. Madden passed away Saturday; April 14, 2001 at Lagniappe Hospital. He was a native of Heflin, LA, was a former resident of Spearsville, LA and had resided in Bossier City, LA over 50 years Mr. Madden was employed by the railroad all of his working life, retiring from KCS Railroad in 1981. He was a member of Airline Baptist Church. Mr. Madden served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. Madden, Sr. and Emma Cole Madden and granddaughter, Vicki Michelle Smith. He is survived by his wife, Iva Ogden Madden of Bossier City, LA; daughter, Dollie M. Smith and husband, Larry of Chicago, III., grandson, Michael Jason Smith and wife, Lydia K.; great-granddaughter, Mikayla Elizabeth Smith; sister, Josie Crawford of Minden, LA and brother, Jimmy Madden of Houma, LA. Honorary pallbearers were J.T. Saunders Wade Upshaw, Billy Bickham, Jimmy Madden, Michael Smith and Louis Ensenat. # # #
