GILES "GIL" 0SWALD NUTE	

On Saturday, July 7, 2001, the	Lord called another child home. Wes Oswald "Gill, 
Nute, son of the late Earline Nute and Loyce A. I. Nute, was born November 4, 1954 
in Shreveport, LA. He joined New Hopewell Baptist Church and remained a member until 
his death.
He was a loving father, godfather and friend to many. 
He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Loyce Nute of Bernice, LA; one son: 
Twansky Smith of Bernice, LA; his biological mother, Lola Casey (A.C.) of Shreveport, 
LA; five brothers: Raymond Williams (Bertha), Matthew Williams (Cherlyn), Donald Ray 
Williams (Patsy), Terrel Williams (Amie L.) all of Shreveport,LA and Jefforey Williams 
of Houston, TX; one goddaughter: Videssa Morris-Owens (Careto) ofBernice, LA; one sister: 
Margaret Watson of Bastrop, LA and many relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 9, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at, New Hopewell Baptist 
Church with Rev. Dr. A.B. Davis-Johnson,Sr. officiating.
Interment was at New Hopewell Baptist Church' Cemetery, Bernice, La. under the direction 
of Union Funeral Home, Farmerville, LA.
