MRS. THELMA BURNS PEARSON
 
Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Burns Pearson, 93, of Farmerville, LA were held at 
3:00 PM Sunday, January 14, 20001 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church near Farmerville with 
Bro. Vernon Lee, Bro. Woody Reeder and Bro. Bob Witt officiating. Burial was held at 
the church cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of 
Farmerville, LA.
Mrs. Pearson, a homemaker, died Saturday, January 13,2001 in Farmerville. She was a 
member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Union Parish.
She is preceded in death by her husband William S. "Stiffy" Pearson; Parents: John 
Floyd Burns and Lizzie Hamilton Burns: 2 Sisters: Willie Frazier and Barbara Henderson.

Survivors include 2 sons: Billy Floyd Pearson and wife Judy and Boyce L. Pearson and 
wife Ann, all of Farmerville; 5 grandchildren: Terri Gregory, Toni Grier, Tammi Anderson, 
Vevia Taggart and Johnny Pearson; 4 stepgrandchildren: Mickey Rodgers, Keith Rodgers, 
Todd  Crain and Carla Crain; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granchild and 
numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Rice Gregory Bobby Grier, Johnny Anderson, Johnny Pearson, Mickey Rodgers 
and Keith Rodgers.
Honorary Pallbearers were J. D. Bennett and Buddy Truitt.
