SALLIE NELSON PEPPER

Sallie Nelson Pepper, 95, of Junction City, AR died Sunday, July 22,
2001 at Oak Ridge Nursing Home following a long illness.
Born December 8, 1905 at Lillie, LA the daughter of S. E. "Uncle Bunk"
Nelson and Fannie B. Barron.  A lifelong resident of Union County Mrs.
Pepper was a member of First Baptist Church Junction City and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Riley Pepper and four brothers,
Charlie, Elliott, Clyde and John Nelson, two sisters Lou Elkins and 
Gladys Wise.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews including: Dorothy Atkinson
of Junction City, AR and Elaine Searson of Dallas, TX.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, July 25, 2001 at 10:00 am at
Olive Branch Methodist Cemetery with Rev. Hugh Nelson officiating.
Services will be under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Junction
City, AR.
