WHITE Lincoln Darwin White, 92, of El Dorado, AR died Saturday, August 11, 2001, at Medical Center of South Arkansas. Born Feb. 12,1909, in Merom, Ind., he was the son of Oscar Charles and Clara Pearl Apple White. He was a retired chief chemist for American Oil, was a member of Masonic Lodge 750 F & AM 32nd Degree Mason, Shriner and a member of First Christian Church, where he was a member of the Sanctuary Choir and Elder Emeritus. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Frederick White; four sisters, Harriett Bearden, Doris Tibbs, Wilma Ward and Emily Copeland; and a wife, Mae Belle "Billie" White. Survivors include his wife, Mabel Evers White of El Dorado; a stepson, Nathan Evers of El Dorado; a stepdaughter, Juliann Moody of Harrison; six grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2001 at First Christian Church with the Revs. Bill Odom and Phil Pinckard officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Bernice, LA under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 420 N.
