BRO. CHARLES UPSHAW

Funeral services for Bro. Charles Upshaw, retired minister, age 66, were held at 2:00 PM 
Thursday, August 23, 2001 at Camp Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Kenneth Nutt, Bro. James 
Miller, Bro. David Newberry and Bro. Forrest Post officiating, Interment was held at Camp 
Creek Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Bro. Upshaw, a retired minister, died Tuesday, August 21, 2001. He was a member of Cook 
Baptist Church, and a minister for nearly 40 years, serving several churches in Louisiana 
and Texas.

He was preceded in death by parents, Fred and Emma Upshaw.

Survivors include his wife, Twyla Upshaw of Ruston, LA; four brothers: Alton Upshaw and 
wife, Peggy, of Farmerville, LA; "Sed". Upshaw and wife, Joyce of Monroe, LA; Frank Upshaw 
and wife, Tressie of Alexandria, LA; and Wayne Upshaw and wife, Sue of Garland, TX; two 
sisters: Florence Goss; and Maurice Farrar, both of Shreveport, LA; three nieces; and three 
nephews.
