BOATRIGHT Sevices for Mrs. Artie Harper Stone Boatright, 95, of Spearsville, were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, November 21, at Mt. Union Baptist Church with the Revs. Lamar Skinner and Forrest Post officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Spearsville under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Boatright died Thursday, November 19, at Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home in Bernice after a lengthy illness. A native of Union Parish and a member of the Spearsville Baptist Church, Mrs. Boatright was retired and for a time worked as a school cafeteria worker in Spearsville. She was preceded in death by two husband, Berry Stone and Aylmer Boatright; and by one son, Donald Boatright. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Murphy Dean and Margie Boatright of Independence, Missouri; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vonda and John Clinton of Morgan City and Dortha Jo and James Delwyn Odom of Bernice; daughter-in-law, Ethel Stone of Spearsville; two sisters, Ela H. Odgen and Olivia H. Rockett of Spearsville; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ronald Kay, Mark Kay, Robert Elliott, Lucien Savage, Greg Hicks, Danny Johnson, Charles Clinton, David Clinton, and Mike Peeples. # # #
