         Mrs. Vera Cole

Bernice- Services for Mrs. Vera Cole, 84, will be at 2 p.m. today in 
Spearsville Baptist Church with Rev. James Miller officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick's 
Funeral Home in Bernice.
Mrs. Cole died Thursday in Tri-Ward Hospital in Bernice after a lengthy 
illness.
She was a retired schoolteacher, a Union Parish native, and a member of 
Spearsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include five cousins, Mrs. Emma L. Rhodes, and Mrs. Ora Manning, 
both of Spearsville, Mrs. Mattie Lee Adcock, and Mrs. Lois Vick, both of 
Minden, and Eula Boatright of Bernice.
Pallbearers will be Virgil Rhodes, Bubba Hughes, John Rhodes, Bob Rhodes, 
Melvin Stone, Ray Adcock, and Billy Joe Adcock.
