Kelly died, I am adding it to the site because there is still valuable information. This is from the collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, mother of Peggy Rockett. GEORGE D. KELLY Funeral services for Mr. George Dewey Kelly, 71, of Spearsville, were held at 4 p.m. Monday at Mt. Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Forest Post and Lynn Canterberry officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Union Cemetery in Spearsville under the direction of Kilpatrick's Funeral home of Famerville. Mr. Kelly died Sunday at Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston after a lengthy illness. A native of Waldo, Arkansas, he was a member of Mt. Union Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife Mildred Ward Kelly of Spearsville; three nephews, Donald Kelly and Kenneth Kelly both of Kansas City, Missouri, and Benny Ray Kelly; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Donald Kelly, Kenneth Kelly, Rodney Ruby, Mark Ward, Billy Garris, and Doug Upshaw. Deacons of Mt. Union Baptist Church served at honorary pallbearers. # # #
