This obit appeared in the Farmerville Gazette, date unknown

The two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. F.E. Mayo died Monday about noon of 
congestion.  The little fellow was perfectly well when he retired on the 
previous evening and was attacked about midnight.  The sudden death was a 
severe shock to the child’s parents.  THE GAZETTE extends sympathy in their 
bereavement.
