MRS. ELLEN O. WARD                              

Spearsville - Mrs. Ellen O. Ward, 58, of Spearsville, died Tuesday evening at the Tri-Ward 
Hospital in Bernice after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m. today at the Mt. Union Baptist Church with the Revs. 
Forrest Post and Larry Ramsour officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of First National Funeral Home of 
Farmerville.
She was a life resident of Union Parish and a member of the Mt. Union Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Wesley W. Ward, Spearsville: one daughter Mrs. Mona Garris, 
Farmerville: three brothers, Lester Odom, Bernice, Burson Odom and Elbet Odom, both of 
Farmerville: five sisters, Mrs. Laverne Coleman, Orange, Tx., Mrs. Vivian Ray, Bossier City, 
Mrs. Ocille Singleton, Jackson, Tenn., Mrs. Myrtis Huckaby and Mrs. Carrie Braswell both of 
Farmerville; four grandchildren.
The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour before the service.
