Morris Watson Spearsville - Funeral services for Morris Watson, 70, of Spearsville, will be at 3 p.m. today in the Liberty Baptist Church near here with the Revs. Forrest Post, M.L. Graham Sr., and Sam Lee officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mr. Watson died early Friday morning at his residence after a short illness. Mr. Watson had resided in Union Parish for 60 years and was deacon of the Liberty Baptist Church. He was a retired carpenter. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nonie Watson of Spearsville; six daughters, Mrs. Junette Adcock of Spearsville, Mrs. Gertrude LaBeff of Monroe, Mrs. Nita Graham and Mrs. Lou Quincy both of Farmerville, Mrs. Melba Rigdom of Huttig, Ark., and Mrs. Nila Gay Beaird of Springhill; one brother, Artie Watson of Sweetwater, Ala.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jack Beaird, Melvin Graves, Paul Beaird, Robert Miller, Dale Elkins, Hez Elkins, Ralph Ramsey, and Willie LaBeff. The body will remain in the family residence until one hour before services. # # #
