NOLAN Funeral services for John D. Nolan, 67, who died at a local clinic Sunday at 7:50 a.m following a long illness, were held at Antioch Baptist Church Monday at 3 p.m. conducted by Rev. John Cutrer, assisted by Rev. J. Duff Smith, Burial was in the Antioch cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick funeral home. Survivors include his wife, four sons, Guy D. Nolan, Fairbanks, W.E. Nolan, Chicago, Ill. John Nolan, Perryville, and Bobby Joe Nolan, U.S. Air Force., Alexandria; two step-sons, J.M. Hodge, West Monroe, and H.C. Hodge, Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Silmon and Miss Melba Nolan, Farmerville; two step-daughters, Mrs. Sherm Roberson, Haile, and Mrs. C.S. Gardner, Long Beach, Calif; four brothers, Rev. Grey Nolan, Palmer Nolan, and H.D. Nolan, Farmerville, and Emmett Nolan, LeFors, Tex; two sisters, Mrs. Homer Armstrong and Mrs. Bert Malone, Farmerville; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Woodrow Nolan, Shuman Nolan, Emmett E. Nolan, Sandy E. Nolan, Ollie Nolan Jr., and Marvin Malone.
