The Gazette - May 25, 1921
Sister Annie E. Rabun of Colson, LA died May 7th 1921. She was a little more than 60
years of age. She obeyed the gospel under the preaching of my great-uncle J.B.
Davis, near Farmerville, LA., in the year 1884. 

She leaves a husband and three sons to mourn their irreparable loss. She was always
like a mother to me when I was in that country. Her intelligence and ideals were of
the very highest order.
I am sure she has passed into that rest that remains for the people of God. My
admonition to her family is to live in life for a glad re-union on the other side of
the river where no sickness no death can ever come
