Lowndes County

To any ordained minister of the Gospel, Judge of the circuit or county court 
or Justice of peace for the said county.
Greetings, you are hereby authorized to celebrate the rites of matrimony 
between Allen J. Futch and Ann Matthis, and this shall be your sufficient 
authority for so doing.
Given under my hand and seal this 25th day of December A.D. one thousand 
eight hundred and thirty nine and of American independance this sixty fourth 
years.
