W. Holley as principal and H. C. Elkins as security, we are held and firmly bound unto THE STATE OF LOUISIANA, in the sum of One Hundred Dollars; and for the true and final payment thereof, we bind ourselves, our heirs, administrators and assigns. Signed and dated on this 20th day of Sept. A. D. 1905 The condition of the above obligation is such, That Whereas, A MARRIAGE is about to take place between the above found M. W. Holley and Miss Delly N. McAdams and if there shall not exist any legal impediments why the marriage should not take place then the above obligation to be void; else to remain in full force and virtue, according to law. M. Holly and Miss Delly N. McAdams agreeable to Law and the usual forms and ceremonies of the State of Louisiana, in the presence of at least three male witnesses, residing within the said Parish; and that you certify the same, signed by the parties and the witnesses, with your official signature, and the due return hereof make to this office within thirty days from this date. State of Louisiana, Parish of Union I do hereby Certify, That I have on this day, in pursuance of the foregoing License, celebrated and solemnized a MARRIAGE between Mr. M. W. Holly and Miss Delly N. McAdams agreeable to the Laws and Customs of the State of Louisiana. Note: Della Nora McAdams was born February 28, 1887 in Union Parish, LA and died February 18, 1919 in Union Parish, LA. She is buried in Caanan Cemetery in Union Parish, LA. The witness John W. McAdams that was the witness is Della's brother. They were the children of David Jamison and Elizabeth Drury McAdams. M.(attie) W. Holley was born February 1884 and died September 1959. He is buried at Caanan Cemetery, Union Parish, LA. # # #
