J. KELLY as principal and B. B. THOMAS his security are held and firmly bound unto the Governmor of the State of Louisiana for the time being, and his seccessors in office, in the sum of five Hunderd dollars to the true and faithful payment thereof we bind ourselves, our heirs and assigns on this the 29 day of January A. D. 1855/ The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas the said W. J. KELLY has applied to the Clerk of the said 12th District Court in and for said parish, for license to marry Miss Malinda J. McADAMS. Now therefore, if it shall appear that no legal cause exist why said license should be granted, and said marriage consumated, the above obligation to be null and void, or else to remain in full force and effect.
