McAdams as principal and J. R. McAdams as security, we are held and firmly bound unto THE STATE OF LOUISIANA, in the sum of One Hundred Dollars; and for the true and final payment thereof, we bind ourselves, our heirs, administrators and assigns. Signed and dated on this 9th day of January A. D. 1900 The condition of the above obligation is such, That Whereas, A MARRIAGE is about to take place between the above found William P. McAdams and Miss Mollie Martin and if there shall not exist any legal impediments why the marriage should not take place then the above obligation to be void; else to remain in full force and virtue, according to law. McAdams and Miss Mollie Martin agreeable to Law and the usual forms and ceremonies of the State of Louisiana, in the presence of at least three maile witnesses, residing within the said Parish; and that you certify the same, signed by the parties and the witnesses, with your official signature, and the due return hereof make to this office within thirty days from this date. McAdams and Miss Mollie Martin agreeable to the Laws and Customs of the State of Louisiana. Smith, Clerk District Court, &c Note: William P.(ink) McAdams was born 9/24/1878 in Union Parish, LA and died 10/1/1903 in Union Parish, LA. He was the son of David Jamison and Elizabeth Drury McAdams. William is buried in Laran Cemetery, Union Parish, LA. J.(ames) R.(ufus) McAdams who served as William's Security is his brother. James Rufus was born 1879 and died 1949 and is burned in Conway Cemetery. Mollie Martin was born 1892 and died 1932. After William died she married Bussie Holley and Mr. Yossett. She is buried in Caanan Cemetery, Union Parish, LA. # # #
