This unnamed cemetery is located in a wooded area called Banker in Vermilion Parish. It is situated along the Vermilion River, bordering the Simoneaux family estate near the small town of Henry, La. A grave marked GEORGE FREDERICK BARTELS, April 21, 1862 age 61 yrs. Made of bricks. Initials F.B. on another marker, in pieces. CHLOE ANNA COLLINS, wife of Bartels. Born 5-5-1873, Died 11/5/18??. A block on top of Chole's grave reads FANNIE BARTELS, B & D Aug 16, 1887. HENRY HERMAN BARTELS, Born Dec.23, 1828. Died Aug. 23, 1896. Age 67 yrs & 8 mos. ELIZABETH ANN PETRY, wife of Henry H. Bartels. Born Aug. 4, 1846, died July 6, 1923. Age 76 yrs, 11 mths, & 2 days. OTTO RAMKE, Born May 22, 1885, died July 21, 1912. Age 27 yrs & 2 mths. This grave marked with Woodman of the World Memorial Marker. DEIDRICH RAMKE, 1845 - 1898 - father. JOHN RAMKE, Born Apr. 5, 1892, died June 18, 1919. Another marker with the letters O.R.
