The Meridional (Abbeville, Vermilion Parish, LA) August 18, 1894

Mr. Alcee Angeran, aged fifty-one years, who, a short time ago cast his lot 
amongst us, died last Saturday, and was buried Sunday morning in the Catholic 
cemetery here. He was greatly admired among his acquaintances, who, extend 
sympathy to the relatives that are left to mourn his death.
