(Abbeville, Louisiana) Sat., Nov. 25, 1933, page 1 BERNARD BROUSSARD CLAIMED BY DEATH. - Bernard Broussard, a well known citizen of Vermilion parish, died at his home four miles north of Abbeville, on Sunday, November 19, 1933, at 1:00 o'clock p. m., following an illness of over two years. He was 53 years old. The funeral was held Monday morning at 11:00 o'clock, with services at the Catholic Church in Abbeville, followed by interment in the Old Catholic Cemetery. Pall bearers were his six nephews. He is survived by his widow, who before marriage was Miss Ordalie Moore; two brothers: A. E. and Desire Broussard; three sisters: Mrs. Pierre Lemaire, of Riceville; Mrs. Joe Bonvillian, of Morse; and Mrs. Alphonse Broussard, of Meaux P. O., La. Funeral arrangements were in charge of R. W. Bernard, funeral director.
