(Lafayette, Louisiana) Thursday, January 14, 1932, page 9 Funeral services for Mrs. Emar Broussard, nee Marie Picard, 46, who died at her home in the Fourth Ward of Vermilion parish, Tuesday were held at the local Catholic church followed by interment in the Catholic cemetery. The deceased is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. M. Lachocet and Yeola Broussard and three sons, Nicholas, Paul and Avery of Vermilion, five sisters, Mrs. Adam Broussard, Mrs. George Breaux, Mrs. Placide Benoit, Mrs. Theodore Broussard of Lafayette parish and Mrs. Ducre Prejean of Vermilion; and five brothers, Augustus, Leonce, Valorian, Adonice and Galbert all of Vermilion and six grandchildren.
