(Lafayette, LA) Tuesday, August 04, 1925, page 7 Obituary: JOHN CLARK. - John Clark died at his late residence in Vermilion Parish on Monday, August 3, 1925, at 7:50 p.m., at the age of 77 years following a long illness. The deceased is survived by five sons, Doris, Odelon, Alexis, and Ernest of Vermilion Parish and Cleomer of Lafayette parish; one daughter, Mrs. Emile Duhon; three brothers, Clemile and Albert Clark of Vermilion parish and Pierre Clark of Lafayette parish; two sisters, Mrs. Pierre Simon of Lafayette parish and Numa Broussard of Vermilion parish; 34 grandchildren and seven great grand children. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church at Maurice, La. Funeral arrangements are in charge of A.A. Crouchet with the Dauterive Undertaking company.
