(Lafayette, Louisiana) Monday, February 03, 1930, page 7 DENA DUHON. - Funeral services for Dema Duhon, 68, who died at his home in the Fourth Ward of Vermilion Parish Saturday afternoon at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice and interment made in the Catholic cemetery there. The deceased, a prominent farmer is survived by his widow, nee Maria Broussard, seven daughters, Mrs. Ophelias Trahan, Mrs. Rene Melancon, Misses Lucy and Colastie Duhon of Vermilion Parish, Mrs. Theovis Comeaux, of Beaumont, Texas, Mrs. Eliere H. Broussard, and Mrs. Bea Guidry of Lafayette; two sons, Joseph Duhon of Vermiilon [sic] and Arthur of Lafayette, 38 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were in charge of A. A. Crouchet of the Dauterive Undertaking Co.
