(Lafayette, Louisiana) Tuesday, May 27, 1930, page 2 Mrs. Jules Duhon Claimed By Death. - (Special to the Advertiser) - ANDREWS, May 27 - One of the largest funeral held here was that of Mrs. Jules Duhon, nee Celeste Broussard, 70, who died suddenly at her home here. Services were held at the Sacred Heart Church at LeRoy, at a Requiem High Mass celebrated by Rev. Louis DeMonsabert and interment was made in the Catholic cemetery. The deceased was a devout Catholic, a member of the Ladies Altar Society, and at her request, six members of the society acted as pall bearers, they were, Mesdames Elie Lalande, Robley Moss, Roy Monte, Wallace Sonnier, D. Girourard. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. The deceased is survived by her husband, resident of Andrews, two brothers, Elize Broussard of Andrews, and Norbert Broussard of Youngsville. A. A. Crouchet of the Dauterive Undertaking Co. of Lafayette was in charge of funeral arrangements.
